This is an EMS Pitch to Voltage Converter, again bought via Ebay, from Germany.

I did the usual modification on the Mains connector, replacing the original Miniature Bulgin Socket with a I.E.C. (Europlug) as recommended by Graham Hinton on his very informative EMS Modifications website

I just love the design of these units, they pack an awful lot into such a small space, and still have room for expansion, just look at the space in the PSU View + Empty image.

One weakness I discovered with the unit was that the front and back aluminium panels are very weak at the centre point, whilst the unit is mounted in the wooden case, this doesn't cause a problem, but if I have time I will put a strut midway, for support.

I'm sure this unit would benefit by upgrading the 741 chips to TL081's, or LF411's as the slew rate on the 741's was not the best, but I'm not knowledgeable enough to try it, any advice would be welcomed.
