it does look better!!

This is the synth that broke the bank, well I'm still paying for it.

Ebay purchase again, this time dealing with a guy in the US of A.

It really is in pristine condition, without any damage to the Tolex even on the case lids, the chrome corner protectors are still shiny and blemish free, the keyboard is unplayed.

I have added three 1/4" Switchcraft Jack Sockets, two for the Line Out's and one for the Line In on the Pre-Amplifier Module.

Electronically it is 100% functional, and sounds awesome, especially with the superior 4072 Filter.

I have got the Grey faced 2600 back in my workshop, and I have linked the two 2600's together, and I can say that the Grey faced Filter 4012 does sound a lot like the Minimoog filter, well I suppose it would, as it is exactly the same circuit as designed by Bob Moog.

I have recently finished replacing the inferior LM301 Op-Amps with modern LF411's, this has made a big improvement to the Audio Signal path, before there was always a white noise hiss in with audio, that's now gone.

I fitted black speaker cloth between the grill holes and the speaker, I find this is a big improvement. Do you agree?

I have now finished restoring this magnificent synth back to its original condition, as it would have been in the showroom in the US of A, some thirty years ago.

I am prepared to sell it now, offers accepted around £5000.00

Just a quick point, ever noticed that if you plug in a pair of headphones your into ARP, that the speakers don't disconnect This because of a wiring diagram error, which the wiremen copied faithfully, it's easily fixed, just 8 wires to change around.
